Gwen Fabra Davies, knitwear and textile designer.

Gwen is a British - Spanish knitwear designer working at the intersection of fashion, lighting and interiors. Graduated this year in Fashion Textiles and Business from Brighton University, she specialises in knit, exploring how texture, structure and material can shape both the body  and the spaces we inhabit.

Driven by a fascination with sculptural potential of knitted textiles, her work extends beyond traditional knitwear into experiments with wool, padded shaping and surface design. Through a process of material exploration and technical knit innovation she develops pieces that combine craftsmanship with contemporary design thinking. Gwen uses this medium for its profound versatility to bridge atmospheres, and create emotional connections. Her growing body of work bridges the gap between fashion and interiors and art. Alongside her independant practice she has exhibited her work in a Barcelona en collaboration with her mother, an architect & artist.

She is currently collaborating on multidisciplinary design experiences and her own textile collection.  Currently based in London and Barcelona, Gwen is enjoying developing creative partnerships across fashion, lighting and interiors.
